Really need to drag you out one day my way to see the weirdness of it....

With my iPhone at my parents place (which roams to Vodafone) I can make a call using WiFi calling absolutely no problems. Agreed however regarding handover back to the cell network - really would love to see this resolved as I always fall into this trap at home.

VoLTE will see handover sorted but when will NZ see 4G calling @saltyNZ

That I can't say, I'm afraid.

coffeebaron: On Vodafone you can get a SureSignal to plug into your broadband connection to give in home mobile coverage.

yeah but we have staff who use other ISP's other than Vodafone, my understanding and from trying to get this working with another ISP, it only works if Vodafone are your ISP.

Sounds like the 2 Degree product works on with any ISP?

Vodafone removed the requirement of their own connection for the sure signal devices

@LFCNZ As @hio77 pointed out this restriction was removed by VodafoneNZ and will work on any NZ fixed line ISP

Was removed almost 2 years ago, If it does not work then you need to log a job with VodafoneNZ for the Sure Signal white list to be checked

Make sure you provide the IP address to Vodafone at the time

Oh right great, will give it another go, so you need a static IP then.
