How far in the future will they allow me to start a new contract.

I have 1 more month left in contract (billing end of the month) with Stuff which would make it October before I'm out of contact.

I read somewhere that the end of this promo is the end of August I think, correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks.

@rippernz You can book it now with the start date (install) of the 2degrees connection at the end of your Stuff connection.

Dang I called and got switched over but the discount is $21 dollars... but my problem is we're not currently paying $106 but $110... We'll get $89/month after the applied discount.

Tried to call again to fix but the CSR was pretty adamant $85 isn't available for existing customers. There should only be 1 info here... so confusing.

Half way through my contract that I am happy with, but would like the new deal so it goes another 12 months, and the only offer was if I paid $95 termination fee. Same thing happened the previous year as they seem to only offer deals at this time of the year.

Same here, but I have taken the hit as going forward will be ready for new deal next year etc, as it is always their Birthday month they have these deals.  It is a very good deal and a great company to deal with.

Called and after talking to 2 different people, got offered the $85 for 12 months deal. I was already on a "Static IP on the House" deal from when they introduced Static IP and it broke external access to my stuff and they seem to have kept that as well. Pretty stoked with the result and happily commited for the next 12 months!

Received an email today stating that the 100/20 plan we are on was going to increase in price by $4/month (to $79 as we have mobiles with them) but also offered early termination of the contract without any terminations fees (my contract was due to finish on 01/12/20).

I decided to try my luck and called to ask if I would be able to re-sign onto the gigabit promotion - I explained that I could easily just cancel my contract, then call back in another 15 minutes saying I'm an off-contract customer wanting to re-sign onto the promotion. The CSR was unsure what the process was and called a few senior staff, who were hesitant at first and suggested I email some generic email account about my query.

It didn't sound very promising at first, so I asked for my contract to be cancelled, which hit another road bump as the CSR seemed to think it could only be terminated if the connection was going to be disconnected. The CSR once again called another colleague to ask for help and in the end they decided I didn't need to go through the drawn out process as I was close to the end of my contract and offered a $21/month discount for the next 12 months, so overall a very happy customer!

I did have to point out to the CSR that the gigabit promotion was available for existing customers - the CSR was quite helpful and even logged onto Geekzone to have a look at this thread!

I was told quite firmly at the 2D store in Palmerston North that the offer was ONLY available to NEW customers.

This as I was setting up a 3rd account with them (My Kids are my Tenants and I supply the internet with the flat).

I got email confirmation last week (31st August) that my switch from 100/20 to the 900/400 was successful (existing customer on open term.)
The website still shows my order is waiting on Chorus, anyone have an idea how long this usually takes? The email said 3-5 business days so coming up to the end of this timeframe.

I ran a speed test tonight any my upload speeds were crazy, but download remained the same. It seems like they've done half the upgrade/provisioning?
Download speed topping at 103Mbps and upload 230Mbps

My "Your 2Degrees" website portal says the order is "plug an play" which I assume means it's complete?

Anyone else experience this, how long has it taken anyone else to move from open-term 100/20 to 900/400?
