Possibly it's a partly Blacklisted IP range these users have been refreshed onto. (on some blacklists but not all = some applications work but others not) - nothing that end users can do about that - would need 2 Deg to temporarily exclude that IP range from allocation, until blicklists cleaned up.

... also doesn't work on the 2degrees wifi. So can add that to the list of applications that are affected.

It's not "2degrees wifi".

It's 2degress. Wi-Fi is just a medium, like Ethernet (cable) is.

Sorry for the pedantry.

gehenna:

I mean disable it in your network adapter on your computer.

@gehenna, I've disabled IPv6 with the help of my IT department (needed access permission). Tested with same websites/apps and no change.

I should also say that I was just on a call with my IT department and used TeamViewer. Can confirm Teamviewer (non-Microsoft right?) also doesn't work on the 2degrees wifi. So can add that to the list of applications that are affected.

@DimitryD Great thanks for the heads up about TeamViwer issues as I am on-call this weekend for work - Most servers I rdp onto work workstation issue I use TV

@Tinkerisk:

His IPv4 address is from 2degrees and his IPv6 address is from snap.net. Quite strange on a 2degrees connection.

Not strange as Snap was the original ISP, 2degrees bought it many years ago.

Ok, that explains it.

That's what I suspected, hence the effort with the DNS tool. Something seems to be filtering.

Linux: Anyone had a update? Android Apps still failing to work over Fibre connection

There has been a lot of internal discussion on theories today. It isn't being ignored. :-)

iPad Pro 11" + iPhone 15 Pro Max + 2degrees 4tw!

These comments are my own and do not represent the opinions of 2degrees.

I can honestly say that I’ve been blown away by the interest from senior 2degrees staff on this issue on this thread, private message and even a phone call. Sure resolving the issue is a win win for customers and 2degrees, and sure this curly issue remains unresolved for the moment, but the commitment from the architects/engineers at 2degrees to resolve this has been second to none in my experience.

So thank you for the continued support - we are almost there!

Interesting I got called out this morning and Microsoft authentictor does not respond to the approval when connected to Fibre so disabled WiFi and sent another request and it worked over mobile data no issues

That's a potentially quite disruptive problem for business customers then. I'd say the priority on this just increased exponentially.

Try Cloudflares DNS for a change like 1.1.1.1.
There is also a few connection tests you can try like the Microsoft Teams Network Assessment Tool is helpful.

Hi just coming in new on this. Sorry if answered but someone mentioned did you try another computer? If so did the same issue occur?

@sqishy multiple people/locations/platforms affected. Not the OP's computer.
