I am with Slingshot and have no luck getting audio attachments to http://www.slideshare.net embedded content.

Here is an example of Slideshare with an audio file,  http://www.priebsch.de/2009/03/managing-the-software-life-cycle-of-a-php-application/

I can never get these to play, does anyone else get this??

Could it be the Slingshot cache failing like it did with embedded youtube content sometime back.

It has got the audio tag in the corned and the buffering infomation.  Thanks for the feedback

I will try and find some other examples before I try and take this to the helpdesk.

I can view there demo on Slideshare, http://www.slideshare.net/faqs/slidecast and http://llcommunity.blogspot.com/2009/03/how-to-write-your-research-dissertation.html  so it may be a just those odd cast that have issues.

http://darmano.typepad.com/logic_emotion/2009/03/the-microsociology-of-networks.html doesn't go

I wonder if it works because they have the mp3 hosted at the same location as the Slides.

More testing to do.  Thanks again

Detruire: I don't get the audio icon.

Is the lack of Audio Icon related to the browser you are using,  I've tried it with Firefox and Apple Safari and the Audio Icon is missing.......  perhaps it only works in IE

I believe it to be because there is, in fact, no audio.

I just tried http://www.slideshare.net/faqs/slidecast on my MacBook in both FireFox and Safari...   no audio

BUT when I tried it on my Win XP workstation,  it did not work in IE,  so I tried FireFox and in Firefox for Windows it only worked after I updated my Adobe Flash Player...

For the sake of science (or lack thereof), I tried in IE, FireFox and Opera and came to the conclusion that not only is there no audio icon.. There is no audio.

To me, it just looks like a simple presentation.

It looks like there is no audio,  I get a lot of false positives.  Thanks for all the help.
