Mad good company. I'm also getting completely horrid WoW performance tonight, currently ingame - not  in a raid or in a city - i'm sitting at 3000ms ping, completely unplayable.

I'm voting with my feet. Signed up for a Telecom phone/broadband package tonight. Don't care how much it costs or if I have to pay more to get it done sooner. All I want is my online life back.

So what ISP's/plan's do you guys recommend? I need about 25gb per month, which can be expanded if required.

Ditto for Rapidshare. Down since mid-arvo.

Been considering TelstraClear for their PDQ, but unsure about after hours speeds. Heard bad things about it today from colleagues. Will probably switch, though, as I like their way of charging per data packs used.

I'm going for the Telecom Pro plan. 40GB @ $79 incl. a static IP. My work pays for my comms so cost doesn't actually worry me that much.

Yeah, this is the plan that I'm thinking about most likely changing to. Wish Telecom sold data packs so I could just go on Adventure though, as I think I'll most likely struggle to use 40gb ;(

Also, on a side note: When/If I do change, should I expect downtime with my Internet connection, or will the swap over be almost instantaneous?

I'm with Orcon and I have been getting eractic pings to International and local servers for the past few days. I spoke to a tech tonight (they answered within a few minutes which was very suprising and pleasing) he told me an upgrade was being performed overnight tonight between 1.00-6.00am therefore my connection should be sorted tomorrow.

We will see.

Tired of these "upgrades" that last a few days before another one is needed. Just fix it the first time.

An upgrade means nothing to me now.

I've always found them great to deal with. Much better than Telecom. I for one won't be changing back to Telecom any time soon.
