Update 17 January 2011
On 23 September 2010 my account was transfered from Slingshot to Telecom. Till end of December 2010 I sent dozens of emails, sent faxes, spent half a day on the phone to get my account canceled. However, Slingshot keeps on sending emails and letters for services they do not provide. On 12 January I received a letter from Slingshot that my account was canceled and I would be credited for the recent months. But wait there is more, a few days later I received a letter with the same date that they are going to get a debt collection agency involved because the account is overdue. Slingshot has an absolutely insane bureaucracy.

adus0229: Do not believe that. There are only 4 people working in the technology team. Once I made a call and waiting for answer, customer team told that only 2 people were answering the phone and the other 2 were taking break. That was only 10am.
I?have been waited for 2 hours.

The sale department's staffs?are calling everyone/business to joint them with a better offer. After you joint them, you will find out you did not get what you have been offer. In?their term and conditions we do not guarantee speeds this means that you'll be liable for a termination fee if changing providers. That's is what they do. They do not care what they have been offered you.
