sbiddle: When you say no other devices do you mean no other jackpoints, ie the inbound line terminates at the modem? Multiple jackpoints will cause problems even if you don't have phones connected, plug in filters only exist to allow voice and xDSL to coexist, they can't remove reflections caused by multiple jackpoints. For this reason even with Naked DSL a master filter is essential if you have multiple jackpoints.
starspanglenz: There is no reason to have filters on a naked ADSL2+ connection, the filter is only used on normal ADSL lines i.e Phone/ADSL, never use them on a Naked ADSl2+ line it's not doing any justice.
In my experience with Naked ADSL2+ over the last 4 years with Orcon and Xnet, having more than 3 jackpoints won't make the slightest difference unless a jackpoint is broken, it would make a difference if it was normal adsl.
