I am currently thinking to sign up with Orcon. With their unlimited ADSL plan. I am planning to switch my number to them as well and use the Genius Go service.

If one day I am leaving Orcon, can I still take my number back and transfer to another service provider?

Thanks

Yes with a very slight caveat (Telecom numbers can only be ported back to the exchange they came from as far as I am aware).

Hi

Yes phone numbers are technically owned by the customer so can be moved to any provider.

However its best to port the number to the new provider before the service is cancelled (but OK to give notice to the losing ISP). Otherwise porting becomes a bit of a headache.

Not that we're biased, but great choice!

I'm on the plan you're considering and with only a small issue at the beginning (on an old plan over a year ago) which they promptly fixed I'm pretty happy.
