What determines the ping speed? Lowest I have seen on my 30/10 in Porirua is 11ms.

Living in Auckland gets that latency, usually its about 5-7ms latency between Auckland and wellington however with all the equipment you go though between here and there I'm not surprised your getting 11ms.
However I would worry the difference between 5ms and 11ms is almost nothing.

Haha 5ms 11ms, This is now what we are getting on a 100/50 connection. How come every time they said they upgrade my service is down graded (Would like to know sound dude).

Why am I paying an extra $30 each month ? to be from 100/20 to 100/50 when my connection is 50/2 ??? how long should I keep track of this before I can take some legal action?

Ping is normal, "laughable" (its still quick I guess) download speeds.

It just gets gradually worse every week now... pretty soon I will be paying for a "100" service, but actually getting my old "30" plan speeds- what a disgrace!

Everyone else I know on Spark & Vodafone are at solid 100mbps at any time of the day.

Sitting at 13/9 on my 30/10 fibre.

Beyond a joke now. It's been getting steadily worse over the past few weeks. Had a fault lodged with the helpdesk. Keep getting told it's with UFF...

I've been getting 13/23 on 30/10 plan for a couple weeks now. lol I don't think anybody knows what's going on anymore.

Changing to 100/50 next billing cycle. Let's see how that works out.
