Hi, anyone there at Orcon  please ?

My fibre has just been connected and the installer has left.  But there's no phone or internet working (I've reconnected the

VDSL line to send this).

I rang Orcon on the cellphone but almost impossible to understand Pakistanis accent who sound all underwatery, and could only make out about 2% of what was said.  That took about an hour all up.

I think the message was 'Cross your fingers" and wait till 7pm.  Is that correct ?

With the Fritzbox connected the brower doesn't connect, the phone has dial tone but there some sort of error beepafter dialing (any number).  The installer said Orcon  need to 'provision' the line and a phone would do it easily.  But so far not.

Is there a NZ phone number for Orcon??

A very disappointing start to UFB :(

Hi there,

Your order has been completed and the services are provisioned on your account. Switch your modem and ONT off for a few minutes and then back on and see if you can get online. If not, give our tech team a bell on 0800 13 14 15 and they'll run through some troubleshooting with you.

Cheers,

Cam
