Hi,

I moved into my current place 2 years ago and I was forced to open an account with Telecom so that I can get my Orcon broadband connection set up.

I am moving soon to Remuera/Newmarket into a new place and I was wondering if I still have to pay Telecom for a homeline I never use?

This little girl has googled and searched and is still confused.

Thanks.

Oops I only just saw it on the Orcon website. I don't know how I missed it the first time. Thanks for your help.

But I read in the FAQ that I need a phone line for Sky TV? That sucks because when my husband comes back from overseas he will want his Sky or I'm in trouble

Nope, you don't need a phone line for Sky TV, only if you want to order pay per view movies etc, but you can call them up for that anyway.

Where are Orcon's Naked DSL Plans? I can't seem to find them on the website at all.

It's called Purple+.

You will need to enter a phone number which is within the Orcon+ network to be able to view details and buy the plan.
