Hi,

I moved into my current place 2 years ago and I was forced to open an account with Telecom so that I can get my Orcon broadband connection set up.

I am moving soon to Remuera/Newmarket into a new place and I was wondering if I still have to pay Telecom for a homeline I never use?

This little girl has googled and searched and is still confused.

that's correct there is no need to pay telecom for a landline anymore. im not sure what type of deal's orcon have with naked dsl. i know world exchange offer's it.

Oops I only just saw it on the Orcon website. I don't know how I missed it the first time. Thanks for your help.

But I read in the FAQ that I need a phone line for Sky TV? That sucks because when my husband comes back from overseas he will want his Sky or I'm in trouble

Nope, you don't need a phone line for Sky TV, only if you want to order pay per view movies etc, but you can call them up for that anyway.

yeah that's right. and i mean it's not like sky really has anything great these day's.

Where are Orcon's Naked DSL Plans? I can't seem to find them on the website at all.

You will need to enter a phone number which is within the Orcon+ network to be able to view details and buy the plan.
