I Have a relation who is reviewing their mobile Data operator with the pending closedown of the Telecom EVDO system. They are not wanting to go on contract as they only really need it for another 7 months. The options appear to be most suitable are Telecom prepay or Orcon, As Orcon are still relativly new as a MVNO they were wondering if anybody could share their experience of using Mobile Data on Orcon.

Thanks in advance,
Laurie

In my area, its not much different from Telecom. I chose Orcon simply because its more convenient to get a paper bill rather than top up. But whichever network has best signal/speed in my area I'd probably go with if I needed mobile broadband. If they were the same in your friends area then look at price of data.
