Does anyone use steam? What server would you recommend?

I'm getting constant 200kB/s a far cry from the usual 1MB/s (would be a pun if I bought farcry, alas).

Seeing there's other thread about 5ms ping, thought I could up the ante by discussing 800kB/s

happy weekends all, and don't let Steam suck you dry...

Depends on what game you're playing... I'm getting kicked playing farcry because there's no servers nearby and all my pings are >150

Steam will automatically try and find the best mirror based on your location, problem is the nearest steam content mirrors are in Aussie and the US so if Orcon is having slow international issues....

It would be great if most NZ ISP's ran steam content mirrors, would easily be worthwhile.
