I keep getting calls that register as "000" on the caller ID. When I pick it up, it's always just the beeep-beeep-beeep (other person hang up tone). It must be some kind of automated system. I often get scam calls from another number, with arabs trying to 'fix' my computer, but what is the point of these 000 calls?

I get calls like that sometimes - usually it is an overseas call. But, when I pickup it doesn't hang up.

This one always hangs up with no delay, and I've been getting it almost every day lately, sometimes even twice a day.

I had a few of those, and the same thing...a hang up/disconnection. After about the 3rd or 4th time however there was an actual person who in very poor English trying to tell me I have a virus on my computer blah blah blah

Could it be 0000? This is a common CID passed through on some international interconnects into NZ.
