Hey guys,

I've formatted my pc and got it ready to enjoy the full experience of Orcon zero-rating Steam content.

However I've come across a problem, I want to purchase some games... but I can't see if it's hosted with Orcon before I actually purchase it. I don't want to purchase it and then find out it's going to be downloaded from another server where it will eat my data.

Is there any possible way to find out if that content is hosted by Orcon before purchasing it???

This would be great.

Thanks.

My understanding is that the Orcon and Telstra Steam servers have/will have all steam files and games hosted. However without the use of a 3rd party program locking steam down to 1 server Steam may get content from other servers if the server closest to you is under too much load

Most problems are the result of previous solutions...

I just tried to download 3 "free to play" games, and none of them were hosted by Orcon. So I had to cancel the download. Thought I might go ahead and actually buy a game but then realized I can't see if it's being hosted locally. I'm not going to pay for the game and watch it eat 11GB of my data cap. =\

Orcon has 6TB of data coming in, last numbers of completed data Ive seen was sitting around 2TB, but this was about a week ago, so not everything is on their server yet.

Best way to find out if the game you want is hosted by Orcon, is select the game and hit Play - if the Orcon banner shows, then youre getting it from them.

Yea that only works on Free games, you can't click play unless you buy one of the other games, so we can't tell if we are going to pay for the data until we actually buy the game.

I don't want to buy games and then find out I'm going to have no cap after downloading it.
