Hi there,

I'm a novice regarding freeview, please help.

I purchased a Veon 19" TV with built in freeview for my daughters bedroom. When I try tuning in the channels it doesn't pick up any and states no signal when 100% complete. I've tried tuning it while connected to the lounge ariel that gets all channels when used with my Samsung 42". But still nothing at all on the Veon.

Could it be a signal strength issue or is there something else ?

Kind Regards

Tricia

Analogue channel/tuning is on by default

Follow the setup guide (or manual) to switch mode and scan for digital channels instead

How is the aerial cabling connected to the room? If it works in the lounge then it's likely going to be a cabling issue.

It's probably not cabling as the OP says it doesn't work in the lounge but the other TV works OK.

Check that it is actually scanning the digital tuner.
If you are south of Taupo you'll get nothing on analogue.
