Hello folks

A new unlabelled service (1505) is showing up on the new mux. Currently showing CCTV 4 material without an NZ channel logo.

Does anybody know if this is the promised return of Channel 9?

I doubt whethere anyone promised the return of Channel 9.
However, try a scan of 12381 Vertical 3750SR. You should find L-Bird2 if you've got a DVB-S2 receiver.
You could be watching State of Origin tonight!

Ahhh, sorry. Re-reading my post I realise I wasn't clear. I'm referring to DVB-T Freeview HD "Channel 9" (actually channel 29), the Chinese language channel that went off-air last year. Freeview's website has said they'll be "returning soon" for more than 6 months...

I'm aware of the Aussie channel 9 feed. Not really interested in SoO, but thanks for the reminder.

And after all this time off air they still can't get the aspect ratio correct.

Spark FibreMAX using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+. UAP, UAP AC Pro, UAP AC Pro Mesh, Apple TV 4, Apple TV 4K, iPad Air 1, iPhone 6s, VodaTV Gen 2. If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.

Seems a common problem with these 2nd teir channels.

The 1.68 Mbps makes it 3rd tier.

Channel 29 - CCTV4 is now live including EPG

No notice from Freeview at all ! that this would be live today.

Not surprising.

That would account for my TiVo giving me a message last nite that "my aerial lineup had changed"

Is that DVB-S or DVB-T?
