Is the signal broadcast in a uniform manner around all points of the compass rose, or is the signal directed to only parts of the compass rose so that it is concentrated to areas not covered well by the Waiatarua transmission.

In particular I wondered if the signal covers the Narrow Neck area of Devonport.

PS: I am aware that an aerial needs to be mounted vertically and not horizontally for SkyTower.

Depending where you are in Narrow Neck/Devonport you may get better signal from Waiatarua.

Have you checked the Coverage Map

It provides a general idea of where the signal spread is

Tidal Water reflection can cause interference issues

Interesting PDF map. Would have been good if they used vector graphics (and the PDF would have made sense for that)

They do have an online map as well, but that does not show signal strength.
