We have just bought an Aerialbox T2200 and cannot get Maori, Prime or Choice TV. We are able to get these channels on our Sony TV with built in Freeview and also on our Panasonic myfreeview/HD. Any suggestions on how to tune these missing channels in would be appreciated. We have a UHF aerial.

We have similar equipment - T 2200 and Sony TV, and are having no problems -- though sometime recently, week or so ago, we lost all these. but a rescan brought them back again -- so maybe rescan?

Hmmm. Same here on T2200. No Maori TV. Rescan didn't work. Maori TV working ok on other TV's.

Also no radio channels. Factory reset didn't help.

We tried a factory reset and also updated the firmware.

No radio channels either but we're not too worried about them.

Hi Guys,

Is the built in TV using the output from the T2200? Try unplugging the connection with your TV and try a rescan to see if that works?
What area are you in? i.e. Auckland - West etc...

Cheers

OK. That worked. I unplugged the RF out pass through and I now have 25 tv and 3 radio channels (up from 12 and 0)

In Pukekohe so signal coming off the Waitaks.

Cheers, Matt.

:-) Thank you so much for your help guys. we now have 25 channels and 3 radio.

I tried your suggestion Josh and it didn't work as the TV is connected through an HDMI cable but your suggestions gave me an idea. I replaced the coax cable with a different one, rescanned and now we have all the channels :-) Yaaay!!

Oh, by the way, we are in Leeston.

Hi,

How do you get to the catchup guide?

Areilbox T2100.

If go to guide from menu, and press previous day on the week guide, it goes to end of the current week, not backwards.

The freeview guide just won't go back, so a bit confused.

Only been plugged in a little while so maybe it needs a day?

If press APIs get the one, and 3 on demand come up, but thought with freeview plus could go back on guide.

Thanks.

It just came up on screen freeview plus available press red, or green for 3 now, so looks like push red button while on tv channel, not EPG button.

Waited about 5 minutes with loading then I gave up, I give it some time and try later.

The most significant thing keeping me using (and paying for) Vodafone T-Box, now that it is very stable IMHO, is their newest feature.
The Vodafone TV App enables us to to totally control the content of the T-Box from my Android tablet. We love it. In general is it easier, and less disruptive, than using the remote and TV to manage things. A rare, but illustrative example - we are on holiday in rural Taranaki (where 800 Kbps Internet is a good day). My partner commented "I hope the T-Box has recorded last night's Dr Who.' No worries -
* Internet currently working, check,
* Open App, check,
* Select 'Planner', Recent. Top of the list is Dr Who 27 Sept. :-)
I then noticed a copy of Brokenwook Mysteries that I was not expecting. Tapped that entry, and the 'i' button - it is from series 1, which we have already see. Tap Delete. Better check ... yes, episodes 1 and 2 from series 2 are both there.
TV pondering settled, back to enthusiatic holidaying.

Very good chance we would buy a T2200, and use MyFreeviewPlus, if it could offer similar functionality. (Note that Prime don't participate in MyFreeviewPlus, last time I checked, so watching Dr Who on demand is not an option. :-( )

Cheers!

Steve

Thanks for that suggestion and It's a good one too! It is something we have been looking into and I'll pass this to the development and research team. Prime is owned by SKY TV and the likely case to have a Prime App on FreeviewPlus is unlikely as SKY are due to release their FreeviewPlus equivalent for their customers.
