invisibleman18: On special for $249 today only at Noel Leeming. Would like to get it but can't really spend that much at the moment. Good deal but I guess there will be more deals and sales over the next month or so.

Wow that is cheap .. close to cost ..Maybe cost plus 10 percent ..staff rates even .. the Mtv3600 had some good launch pricing but held its value after that I would be shocked if that gets repeated in the near future

This is when you press the remote on the T2200 remote? Or when you try and select a file it skips or attempts a double take. If so then I will get the guys to work on this as we have another report filed with the response of the remote.

Have you got the latest firmware installed? Just need to make these double checks before sending this info through (The software company always asks this)

Cheers Jase!

yes latest firmware

its the same issue i have with the channel buttons. If there is any display on the screen, ie the bottom info bar displaying the current/future programming info, or the time-shift display at the the top, and i press one of the number buttons to change the channel button press will be registered twice.

With the UPnP the same thing happens but with the >>| and |<< buttons. if there is the any information being displayed it wont go to the next or previous track it will go 2 forward or 2 back.

basically when there is anything being displayed on the screen and you press a button it will register 2 presses instead of 1.

I said that about the mtv3600 for many years I know what you mean but the relief after I did was worth it.. the 650 is at the cheaper end of the scale but money is money for sure

You got it. The pro active response here is magic. Doesn't mean that what you want will happen, but it probably will (thanks Rachel Hunter 2.0)

Like you I am about to cancel Sky. Poor me, I'm so used to it. But as per my roof tile post that you kindly responded to, we are moving to a new home, and I will
cancel Sky tomorrow as from 22 Jan. I have a Panny BWT720, but am sure keen to get a DishTV 2200

It took a few months to ween off sky but we never looked back , if anyone repeats that 250 buck deal instead of 450 you could get 3 harmony remotes and not know about it. You are saving the price of a 650 once a month quitting sky hehe

Hi Josh, I'm afraid the T2200 is going to be retired from duties for a while as we're still getting problems with jitter\noise\general crappiness etc. Once again it was during the last few minutes of Call the Midwife once it was overlapping with the recording of Love Child immediately afterwards. I'd disabled "Pause Live TV" last week (much to my wifes disgust) and now it only goes to crap on the end of the first recording rather than the start of the second as well (both used to be unwatchable until the first one had stopped). So luckily I was able to stop watching the recording of Midwife and switch over to the recording of Love Child to catch the bit of Midwife that'd been lost. But it is infuriating so we'll be going back to the MagicTV until you get this sorted. Be thankful my wife didn't chuck the T2200 out the window last night!

Yes we have the latest firmware and signal strength is 62% quality is 98%

pleased i helped you get half of it temporarily sorted, maybe forcing one of the programs to record on plus one ch would be an interim fix, although i can see the frustration . obviously getting magic tv to do record one of the programs would solve it also (while a fix is being sorted)  we seem to tax our machine a fair bit but no issue after disabling live tv .  signal 78% qual 98% also , seems like the processor is being taxed or HDD speed , input output ?  looks like a prime time to send the unit for a test while you use the magic, while the magic still works !

Josh , just a small thing to add to the perhaps diminishing pile ,  now we have the epic ability to sort series and hold the sort between sessions , how do i exit a series folder but return to the library ?  Exit takes me to Live TV , library button takes me to live tv .  Perhaps there needs to be a back step to library from the specific series folder , it has strangely come up quite often so far.  e.g. i find the series i want to watch an episode from i watch and then perilously delete it  , lol   . i dont want to watch two grotesque programs in a row so i then wish to go back to library to watch something funny or what ever but it kicks me to live tv instead of going back to folder view. what am i missing ?   I use the power of the box to skipp all adds , i dont watch live unless im super desperate.    Actually Mondograss, that could explain why i seem to have less issues than yourself , i am not tying up any tuner with double duty e.g. two channels on the same mux e.g. tv 1 record, tv2 live and tv3 record.   of course im not saying it Should be that way just that at present it Could be that way.

Anyone using a Logitech universal remote with their T2200? How have you set it up?
