 Hi Josh and anyone else with the following problem:

 

During playback, if I pause the recording for more than a few seconds, when I unpause it I get a notification, "playback aborted due to invalid/corrupt content". So I have to play it again from the beginning and fast forward to where I was and repeat if I pause playback again. This is happening on playback on different recordings.

 

ALSO when I press play again and am asked "resume playback, yes/no" and I click yes, it plays from the beginning of the recording and NOT from where it is supposed to.

 

Yesterday morning the box updated itself but the issue is still happening.

 

Also when I stop the recording it carries on playing (sound only, no picture) even though the on screen menu shows it as stopped. It's now very difficult to watch anything!

 

Please can you help?

Taniachch: Yes, I had made sure it was up to date, everything was up to date, and we were getting both sound and vision problems from the device. Also, the on screen display was unsatisfactory for us as well, very weird way of showing movies in series view, and too small a font/colours not nice. We experimented, but for my older mother in law, nothing was simple/easy to read, and with the other issue of not recording correctly, we returned the box under the conditions of the CGA and have decided not to use the T2200 in future. We're waiting to see if anything new comes out.

Thanks for the reply Josh, but I'll be unsubscribing from the forum. Good luck to everyone else experiencing problems, I hope they get resolved.

Was this not you Christene? I know spelt differently, but still you isn't it?

 

 

 

Nope, different christine sorry   I think that had a T on the side, I have a C next to mine.     Too many Christines :-)  (I used Christene as Christine was taken from memory)

 

I still have my box, which is working fine (now!), but mum has hers and hers isnt.   still multiple issues on hers - ie banner coming up, sound issues and the remote issue.     

 

 

 

 

After the latest update, is your Mother having the same issues?

All fixed thanks very much.  It was fixed on Saturday, not suer if thats when the update went out but issue went away then.

Hey everybody, 

 

It's been a long time and I'm happy to be back. 

 

I've got a Dish TV aerialBox and I've got what might well be a stupid question, but here goes. 

 

To log in to the TVNZ app I need to put in my email and password. The only input device I've got is the remote control. I've tried using it as an alpha-numeric key board and that doesn't work, I've tried hitting the T-TXT button and that doesn't work. I've tried everything I can find in the menu. 

 

I know this is one of those simple things that I'm just not seeing. Anybody able to help?

From memory i think you have to use the up and side buttons that are around the "ok" button. Takes ages and is a pain in the*) a***.

Arrow buttons and OK Button, this is a TVNZ feature so something we can't control

anyone been havign issues with their network connection?

 

we play a lot of media from the PC through the t2200 to the tv, and every now and then we get an error message and the playback it terminated. this sucks because the t2200 is horrible for betting back to where you were previously.

 

the message is network connection interrupted, would you like to continue yes/no

 

i dont believe its a problem with my network, as ive never seen the issue on my WDTV in the bedroom playing the same media, but its happened at least a half dozen times in the last few days on the t2200

Hi DishTV,

 

I have purchased a T2200 recently and have had several programed recordings have failed. The programs all show the record emblem in the guide but recording simply doesn't happen. I can't find anything that might be causing this can you please advise?

Just noticed recently that when I go back on a recorded program, I don't seem to get a preview so have no idea where Iim Going back to.

Going forward is fine, but not back.

Also have had a few programs in a series, randomly record dor say seven hours, only the latest one in the series so will see if it happens again next time recording...

Anyone else having simikar issues?

How many shows are you recording at one given time or are the failed programmes running without any other at the same time?
