I have an old Sky dish and a new 11300 Ku-band LNB to set up. As well as the left/right and up/down orientation, does the LNB have to be rotated as well or do you just place it with the cable connection facing down to help keep the water out?

OK, thanks. I have a satellite finder so I guess I just rotate the LNB for best signal after setting the azimuth etc ?

Yeah, the biggest thing it effects is the polarity. Too far either side your H channels will not show, vertical the other way. Think of it as a small wire in the middle. And the signal is | and -. You want it near \ to ensure it gets both :)
