Hi,

T2200 is out of warranty. I suddenly start having errors when playing recordings from the library and it is reporting corrupt content.

I've tried a factory reset and it still gives the same problem.

The problem is happening on ALL the recordings.

I've tried deleting some recordings but the Free and Used space information doesn't reflects that things are getting deleted. I have deleted almost all of the recordings and play the ones that I know had been recorded and played in the past and it still giving the same corrupt content errors.

I have also tried power off/on the device after the deletion and everytime, whatever I've deleted still appears in the library.

I am not sure what else to do, I don't see any option about reformatting the drive. I've emailed support and is still awaiting feedback. Besides the library and recording function, the device's other functions are still working, that is I can still watch programs, and the apps is also still working, so I am thinking I need to format the drive somehow. But how?

Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks in advice.

Found this in the manual I have under Media Info Pg 46

You can format all devices by pressing
the Blue button, this will wipe everything
on the device and can be used again.
The format will also allow files to be
recorded onto the external device and
can work across aerialBox T2200 and
satBox S8200 units.

If you have already tried re-powering the unit then the only other thing that you can do yourself will be the format. Other that that the technical team will get back to you with similar feedback, the unit may need to go into the repair department, they should be able to organize that via email.

Sorry to hear about your problems.

Even though its out of “warranty”, you still have rights under the law - consumer guarantees, etc. These ain’t affected by manufacturer warranty time limits. I’d go back to the retailer if I were you. I would.
