I was one of the 10. I have installed it. Can't see much difference. Still stable. Not seeing the pixelation of old. Still has audio dropouts (on C4 at least!). Still missing the Auto for sound output (PCM or xxx only).

Will now leave running to see if
1/ it locks up
2/ it still has sound sync issues after a few days of being left running on a single channel.
3/ the pixelation returns.

I don't care about PVR functionality (I have MySky HDi for that) and if the digital output gets sorted, it is actually a pretty good 2nd TV box (IMHO).
Its not top end, its cheap and cheerful.

Sorry mate.  I must have clicked through that warning.  Surprised

If there is still interest I will upload it again to another filehosting site.

I was also one of the 10.  Unfortunately I'm not having the success that you have had.

The sound on the RCA outputs has been breaking up on TV3.  I had the "Digital Audio" setting in the setup set to AC3, I've now changed this back to the default of PCM and rebooted the box.

I'm not holding out too much hope though.

Interestingly if you go to the product info screen it reports the version as 1.03.

One thing I have noticed though with the audio breakups was that it depended on the content.  TV3 news was bad but some of the adverts were unaffected (isn't that typical).

Strangely, I always noticed 3 news seems pretty bad on the ET (fine on my Zinwell).
The version numbering is a bit odd. Maybe they dont know about/use version control!

3 News audio was OK with the previous version of the software I was using.  The problem I had mostly was that an image of something that was on previously would keep popping up during the program.

My other problem is that I can't work out the IR frequency to control it with my Tivo.  Once I've won Big Wednesday then I'll buy a Zinwell instead :)

TV3 news was so bad tonight that I reinstalled the old version of the software. This latest version just doesn't work here. I notice this version call itself 1.05.

At least that something, you can revert to an older release, unlike the last 16May PVR release!  Might have to install it just so I can do that.  This TV3 audio problem on HDMI drives me nuts, although I do enjoy less pixilation with the 16May PVR release.

Anyone noticed anything else different between this latest release and the 16May PVR release?

My audio problem was on the RCA outputs (the two that work, not the two that don't - another problem).  I didn't test HDMI.

You mean you can go back to the previous PVR release? You dont appear to be able to go back to the NOV 08 version though - I just tried and it goes into an endless reboot loop after apparently installing ok.

I have gone back to the version that shows on the box as V1.05 Sep 27 2008 which is a non-pvr version.  The only PVR version I have tried is this very latest one.

I was just assuming I could go back to the NOV 08 release after installing the Jun 09 realese based on graemeh's experiences. But unlike me I don't think graemeh had installed the 16May PVR release.

Hi Graemeh, You couldnt by any chance post that version somewhere could you?
Maybe Filefactory.com
I only have the November 2008 version and I dont know where I could get any earlier ones from.
I would like the ability to roll my box back - though at the moment the latest PVR version doesnt look too awfull, but I havent tested it too much.
