I have just bought this piece of kit. its DVB-T, DAB,FM,SDR capable.

 

Anyone else got one and can help set it up.

 

My interest would be to monitor Ham radio Shortwave and some digital modes

 

BTW using SDR# as the software

I'm not much help in that specific area

 

I have one for POCSAG and ADSB working fine on a Pi/Windows

There is a number of bits of software out there. another on is http://www.hdsdr.de/

Your first mission should be putting a wideband receive aerial on this the little tv aerial it comes with is pretty much useless

 

Next mission is to find some frequencies you know work to see how the setup is going. I would start with Radio Stations just to get used to it. Remember to change between the settings i.e FM-N, FM, AM, and also the channel spacings i.e 6.25k, 12.5k, 25k
