I have a Hauppauge WIN TV NOVA T 500 card that is recognised as two tuners but only one tuner has ever successfully scanned for any channels in either Power Cinema that came with the card or Media Portal which I currently use. Every thing works fine on that one tuner, but not both. As one tuner works fine I suspect maybe it is a faulty card.

I could send it off to Singapore to Hauppauge to be tested, but am wondering before I spend money to do that, would there be a kind soul living in Christchurch who has the same card up and working on both tuners that would be willing to pop it in their computer to see if it works properly.

Here's hoping :-)

Hi Reg

Just to check. Are there 2 aerial inputs on the card? If so one is a dummy and both tuners run off a single input.

Also there are some issues with a batch of this card model (other posts on that). I have that problem that I have been testing lately but 2 difference model cards on 2 systems and the Nova is dropping the signal.

No only one aerial input on the card. I have recently found someone local with the same card that is willing to test it for me on their system, which we hope to be doing this w/e.
