Just in case you didn't see this, the table here seems to give a good representation of the video capabilities of chips that are often used in HTPCs...

Thanks for your help and I had seen that table over the last day or so.

I've installed MP 1.0.0 and a new NVidia card I bought yesterday out of pure frustration works perfectly. This card too stuttered under 1.0.2. Tomorrow, if I'm allowed by the Mrs, I might try the HD3200 again. If it works, then I will try and return the NVidia.

Update: HD3200 seems to work nicely with MP 1.0.0.
