Would love to win this, it will go to the parents. They have a small LCD TV with built in DVD player, and also a genuine VCR. Let's not forget the alarm clock radio. But they would definitely really appreciate Freeview, they'll be getting onto it someday but would be great to surprise them with this. Just in time for Xmas!

I think it's time to break the Sky shackles (since we mainly only watch 1,2 and 3 anyway). Currently have a 37" Samsung LCD, MySky HDi, Bose Lifetyle Home Theatre and a WDTV conencted to a 1Tb USB HDD

Oh my gosh turns out we CAN get C4 in taupo!

of course, you'd need freeview to do it, but I'd been told that it wasn't possible here.

Yes! ooh can i have freeview now? =p

I can has my music back. Although i'd kill for a ps3. just want the HDMI, and the games...

haha, i'm such a nerd, =)

I've got a Samsung 40 inch - best buy ever. An old school home theatre by Sony and the worst ever freeview player...

Please save me from the JCMatthew DVR-320T. It lags something chronic... when you fast forward through the ads you have to press play again 10 seconds before the end of the ads. Deleting a three hour movie takes around 40 seconds... Sucky to say the best!

Our system - not in need of this box. We have a Vu+Duo, and got more than we expected :-)

On the other hand, my parents, with whom I've just had a major battle with to accept an upgrade to a new Panasonic TH-L32S25Z (which we paid for), that is currently mated to a 20+ year old VCR, are in dire need of this machine! Such a waste of a nice telly...

I have a T-Box running through a Yamaha/PSB home theatre system.  Sadly pictures are via a five year old 29" CRT - but Santa is going to fix that.

However, this little beauty would go to my ex-wife/sons house.   They have a 13 year old 29" CRT which I got them earlier in the year I got them a base model Zinwell receiver, which was a huge step up from the crappy VHF reception they had.

Has anyone had any issues with the EPG not keeping good time with the actually running of programmes?

Our 'home theatre' is more of a museum piece from the 1980's.  It comes with an RF input, LED display on the front to show the channel, and can have a maximum of 8 channels.  There's no fancy surround sound or automatic tuning here...

I am planning to upgrade this Christmas to a Panasonic or Samsung 46" LED TV.  We don't get C4 so we could really use the freeview recorder to watch C4, TVNZ 6, 7, etc in all their digital glory as well as be able to record them.

Currently have MySky HDi - which is a premium service. Would definitely love to break away and move to a "Free" service!

This would be an excellent replacement box as its a PVR!

My dad has the worst setup ever. Analogue TV only, sketchy reception and a CRT (the fourth in a row of second hand freebies) that weighs a ton!!! At least this will fix half his problems.... ;-)

I've got a MagicTV (after going out and getting one myself when I didn't win it) and a Samsung 40 inch LED TV which is just awesome, really good depth of colour. I've got a Sony 7.1 amplified from a 5 or 6 years ago that doesn't have HDMI but I get alright surround through small Yamaha speakers and sub - although voices don't seem to always line up!!!

Currently I have a custom built Windows 7 Media Centre PC, a Vantage Freeview UHF receiver, a Samsung DVD player and Samsung CRT TV. I have a Marantz HT Receiver which is powering 3 Wharfdale speakers which I bought second hand and repaired.

Most of the equipment is capable of High Def except the actual TV itself. So no HDTV for me until I get around to replacing it, which I have't been able to justify since all our media is standard def.
