Does anyone know any more exact dates than what's on the Radio Spectrum Management website?

I have searched but could only find this:
http://www.rsm.govt.nz/cms/policy-and-planning/current-projects/digital-terrestrial-television-frequency-restacking/timing-and-channel-information

It would be nice to know when I have to do a re-scan (if that's what's needed)...

If you have a Freeview approved device you shouldn't need to do anything.

Which transmitter are you on? I'm on Te Aroha, listed as May, and it hasn't switched over yet. The new frequencies were registered in SMART two days ago so hopefully it'll be swapping over soon. I have no details about other transmitters, but you could poke around in http://www.rsm.govt.nz/smart to see what's been registered (put "dtv" in the Channel box).

I'm in the Hutt Valley, so it'll either be Fitzherbert or the Haywards - I'm getting the mux from channels 51, 53 and 57 at the mo.

interesting to hear that sites scheduled to change earlier still haven't been done...

Not on schedule.
There will be a media release beforehand  to ensure most people are aware

Trackside on VHF and on their website state that the Freewview HD expansion will be completed by the end of June and they list all eight locations, which is something that's only been added to the on-screen scroller in the past week or so.

Perhaps they know something we don't.

And if they're wrong, then perhaps they could be done for false advertising.

Restacking is separate from the expansion. The new sites already use the new frequencies.

Freeview|HD expansion is all ready to go, with the exception of Taranaki which is running late.

The expansion has nothing to do with frequency changes - these changes are only occuring because analogue channels were already using the spectrum that was always intended for Freeview|HD, and without these changes the 700MHz and up spectrum can't be reallocated.
