Hi,

My goal is to point sky dish towards optus D2 to get Arabic channels. Is this possible?

I have moved to a new house and don't have access to the roof to check the size of the dish.

Thanks folks for your help Wink

It will pick up D2, if you are looking for the V8s a 90cm would do a better job

I have an old Sky 75cm dish on D1 and added another LNB to the dish to get D2 as well. Using a diseqc switch to choose between them. Gets a bit of rain fade on D2 because the dish is centred on D1.

If I gave up on D1 and turned the dish to face D2 the levels would be almost as good as freeview. But if you wanted to get the occasional 9MHz feeds (like the Aussie V8's) you'd need a bigger dish like DJ says.
