Has anyone got a good set of logo detection files for NZ Freeview channels for use with Comskip?  I could let it do it automatically, but it'd be good to get some clean ones that it'll hopefully work with reliably.

I've found that comskip detects commercials at around 95% accuracy for Freeview HD by just using the defaults and "-d 79 -t"

Have you found anything that'll reliably process the EDL and generate a new video file with the commercials removed? The apps I see linked to are either AWOL (Mpeg2Schnitt), don't like something in the .TS (Cuttermaran, mencoder), or expensive (TvReDo).

If I need to remux the .TS into a standard mpeg file beforehand with ffmpeg(?) then that's fine, but I'm not turning up much in the way of info on it.

I just hit the next chapter button on remote everytime i encounter a commercial and it skips the commercial. I don't see the need in storing tv recordings after I watch them.

It just as I stream the files to PlexPVR which doesn't understand the breaks. Not a huge deal as I can just skip forwards but would be nice to have it automated.
