I had Kodi with NextPVR setup on my PC. I am using DVB-S Tuner (Hauppause HVR-3000)

Everything was working fine, until last night it stopped working.

Now I am getting this error, every time I select a new channel.

I am using Kodi 15.2 and Next PVR 3.6.6

I am getting a black screen on NextPVR as well, when I tried to run to see if it works there.

I have re-installed both Kodi and NPVR numerous times, but no luck.

I am also getting this message in my action centre

and I have updated the drivers too but the message is still there...

Not sure what else i can do to fix this issue. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks SB

can you watch tv through nextpvr itself?

also you're way bettter off asking on forums.nextpvr.com, sub will likely help you (the developer) or someone else.  theyre usually pretty quick there.

No, I can't. I get black screen.

I think it's the TV tuner issue. The weird thing is that it was working until I accidentally pushed the seek back button (I think), whilst I was watching Live TV

I'll try their forum too. Thanks

I had this problem with a Windows box and HVR3000 tuner.

If reinstalling the drivers fails you can physically remove the card and re-seat it in the PCIe slot (I would take it out and put it back in a few times- seems the contacts might touch better after doing this).

If that fails you can also totally uninstall the card including drivers and reinstall it (then Windows would install/find the new drivers- again not sure what Ubuntu would do, it's a few years since I used it).

I also had success once doing a roll-back to last restore point with a different Hauppauge tuner- but that was also on a Windows box, so not sure how you would go with Unbuntu

Ok, I might try a full uninstall and re-install.
