I updated to the new firmware this morning. No change to AAC decoding - still get no sound on AAC channels.

but it now does report TV1 and Tv3 ace channels as ac3 rather than dts.

Also in gbpvr I can now get rid of the cyberlink mux and us ts for dvb -s.  Previously it was reporting no sound, where as now it gets the soundtrack.

And likewise for me. Popcornhour and GBPVR are now a viable option at least for DVB-S services with the TS-Mux option in GBPVR. The previous lack of audio on certain DVB-S channels (i.e. TV One and TV2) are now resolved and previous .TS recordings from Media Portal can be played back through GBPVR with the audio.

So the firmware update has produced a positive outcome for me also.

Cheers Mike

How is your skipping/ff/rwd on dvb-s via ts?  I found it didn't work very well.

No AAC-HE LATM audio is pretty disappointing for me. No need to upgrade for me at this time

Slightly off topic here, but does it now buffer You Tube? In the past due to my slack connection, YT would stop all the time while it downloaded, today after updating the firmware I watched 3 videos without a break??
