Is it just me, or is the Haventech xml file missing Sky Movies at the moment?

I love it and don't want to change if I can help it.

I've had a quick look at the xml file and can't see any obvious problems - there is definitely program info there for sky movies and the channel ID has not changed.

I will check on my media PC when I get home tonight and let you know if I am having the same problem (I don't get sky movies so haven't noticed).

Thanks for that.  I've just looked too, and can see it.

Perhaps it was me, but I could swear that I looked and searched for a reference to 'movies' the other day and couldn't see it....

I guess all will be revealed this evening when bse pulls down the latest listings...

Thanks for watching the board and responding - not to mention for providing the .xml file!!

Sky movies appears fine in my guide (win 7 via Big Screen EPG), so not sure what the problem is/was. Hopefully all ok for you now...

Ran another search for missing channels in bse and found Sky Movies. Sure I tried this, but in any event - all working now!

Hi Haventech

Thanks for providing this source - can you please advise if there should be data for Sky 63, Cartoon Network, Sky News.....  If not, is it possible to get these channels included?

yeah there should be data for all channels. I haven't noticed any problems myself but I'll have a look tonight and see if I can see what the problem is.

I noticed this myself and looking at the XML file just to make sure it wasn't something funky with my importer, Sky News, Cartoon Network and 63 are indeed missing. There's info in my Sky box for these channels so I presume it's in the EIT although don't have a DVB-S card obviously (hence why I'm interested in your guide) so can't look myself.

While this is semi OT, I also noticed the EPG doesn't seem to have been updated since 13/03. Obviously as a free service I have no expectations it has to be continously updated or be available at all, I'm just wondering is this normal? Or are there been personal or whatever reasons why it hasn't been updated recently? Or have you been hit by a C&D order as well or decided to stop even without an order? (Most of the others stop providing anything at all so I'm not sure if that's the problem here.) Either way in such a case the issue of missing channels is understandably moot.

In any case, thanks for providing a great service!

Well if it hasn't yet then I'm sure it will be soon since your post has just kinda given the game away.

Why don't you just ring up Sky and inform them directly???

sorry guys, turns out my el cheapo webhost did an upgrade which resulted in the file upload not working the last few days. Should be all working again now!

I will look into the missing channels issue soon, just been really busy this week!

Those missing channels are back in the current xml file so not quite sure what the problem was because I haven't changed anything!

I'm glad to hear that this service is of value others and happy to help out where i can.
