I can get acamd working with DVB-Viewer just fine, however DVB Viewer has this stupid thing where you've actually got to have the programme open for it to record.  I'd much rather have something like GB-PVR where the recording can just run in the background.

What other choices do I have?

Of course the other downside with GB-PVR is the DVB-S2 function doesn't work with my card.

What card do you have?

You can go down the Windows7 MCE approach, this has been discussed here in the past.

ok, am trying that.

it's odd though, I can't get it to decrypt.

it all works fine in DVB-Viewer. I copied the files across from that folder, and changed the NewCS login details to match the tuner name, and still no love.

Any ideas?

Nope. I run GB-PVR not Windows7 MCE and have not played with any of the cam stuff under MCE, only GB-PVR.

You might need to give us a few more clues.  What exactly have you got setup now and whats not working.  What versions of things are you using at the moment?

er, that's odd, it seemed to fix itself, maybe the numerous restarts of the NewCS server or something fixed it.

Odd
