200 times in 3 years.

200 times in approx 1100 days - so about once every 5.5 days?

More than once a week?

Are you sure you are using the right units? That sounds like... A. Lot.

I fail to understand why ANYONE would want to stay with a provider for three years if you had to phone them once a week.

Damn! I'm not getting my money's worth out of snap's helpdesk!! I'm gonna ring them right now and start using up the 200 calls I'm entitled to!!

I think I have called about 3 times, everything else was sorted out over twitter with their very responsive customer service. And that is including getting a faulty line that was causing considerably lower sync speeds than the other 2 connections that come into the house.

Are you sure you are using the right units? That sounds like... A. Lot.

I fail to understand why ANYONE would want to stay with a provider for three years if you had to phone them once a week.

hey thats just the excuse they told me today. i probably called once or twice a month if your lucky, depending on what was happening such as suspended due to late payment, change plans etc.

its not ALL fault/issue calls

im sure theres alot of people that have rang up more than me!

as i said, snap did/ does nt offer a crap service however the problem was between my house and the exchange.

Actually, maybe he has a real point here...

I too would be upset if a company cut my service off the day after the due date on an invoice. Most companies give more than a single day between the due date and stopping service. At least for first and second offenses at least.

(Unless it's an automated walled garden prison that's easy to get out of without having to run new external service orders etc - that's a fine way to encourage on time payments)

I disagree with this being off topic. If you repeatedly pay late and then have other issues with your account then I can understand why you got asked to find another ISP. Customers who only pay once they get suspended are a huge cost to a business.

I disagree with this being off topic. If you repeatedly pay late and then have other issues with your account then I can understand why you got asked to find another ISP. Customers who only pay once they get suspended are a huge cost to a business.


and in this case like i said the reason given to me today was as above. my account is in credit and was charged on the 3rd $62 when i was terminated on the 1st.

now the whole late payment thing was went i was between jobs actually but noone can see into the future for being made redundant.

anyone selling their crystal ball?

Dude, you got dumped because you are high maintenance, call more than once a week for three years, seem impossible to please, don't pay on time, and think three copper lines that are kilometres long should perform identically across three different providers.

Why didn't Snap dump you earlier?
