So I missed my last months Go Monthly payment due to insufficient funds in our joint account. Fair enough. I rang the next day to ask if I should make a payment or just leave it for the whole amount to come out on the next direct debit and was advised "Oh, the whole amount will just come out so all good" No problem, I left it thinking it was sorted. Since then, I've got a barrage of txt "reminders" to tell me my account is overdue. All good I thought, it's an automated system. Then today I got one of those stupid automated calls to say my account is overdue and a txt reminder at the same time to say my services are restricted and the whole amount (last months overdue and this months) needs to be paid immediately. WTF? Why are they saying this months is now overdue as well? I rang and was advised the whole amount is coming out tomorrow (like I was told originally) and they lifted the restrictions. Sheesh! If they had have told me all this would happen, I would have just paid last months amount there and then. I understand it's all automated but there needs to be some human interaction here to avoid this muppetry.

Hi, sorry if you were innundated with SMS reminders.

We send a reminder 1 business day after the due date if it's still not paid then if it goes a further 5 days you'll get another advising the account may be restricted. We then would email a reminder to pay on day 6 and more SMS or emails ongoing if it's still not paid.

Please PM me if your number if you want me to look into it. Please include you 2degrees number, DOB and address for authentication.

We advise setting a DD the day before the due date, that way you shouldn't be inconvenienced with these notifications.
