Hey just a little review of the services.

Switched from Vodafone/Telstra Warpspeed 150GB to Snap VDSL with 1TB usage plan that's rated at $180.00 per month + voip, with telstra that would've cost us over $2,000 and we were constantly going over the 150GB limit so it only seemed like an obvious choice.

As for the speeds, we're getting 48Mb down and 10Mb up.  International speeds and ping are exceptionally fast even faster than the old warpspeed plan from telstra.

I'm not to trusting of the reliability of the VoIP service yet as I had some issues that have now been solved but had to reboot the modem earlier on today.

I did rewire the house and put a Cat6 cable directly attached to the main wires into the house and disconnect all other phone jacks as it was quite sensitive to wiring.

Overall = Extremely happy.

I think you guys should do some more marketing, I'd never heard of the plans/pricing until my friend moved into a flat that had VDSL2 and then I couldn't believe it.

I'm convincing a few people to swap over now haha.

We will be marketing, we've done direct drops etc for UFB :)

Awesome that you've referred your friends. We love it when people do that.

Idea for next plan refresh which i'm sure you marketing department might have considered, could be a referral scheme for extra data. Get X gb free when you refer a friend and they do too. Whether its short term data blocks or permanent can depend on the promotion, but at relatively little cost i think it could bring a lot of new customers.

Didn't you see the big orange google ad at the top of the page?
Referrals that pay do seem to work, but it means that the referral isn't objective, as they are benefiting to refer. I often see review websites that recommend all types of services, but notice in the link that it is a referral link, so there is a financial reason why they are recommending them. They may not even use the service themselves, they just benefit from getting someone else to signup. Not sure there are that many ISPs that pay for referrals in NZ. If there was I would probably refer people to them to, as I often get asked which ISP to go for, although I would also want to use them too.
