SteveON:NonprayingMantis:SaltyNZ:NonprayingMantis: Same construct as telecoms ultra+ plans! but just starts from a lower price point but also with much less data.
Telecom one starts from $119, but has more data at that price compared to the 2d one.
Additional mobiles costs 39 on telecom but 29 on 2d, however, you can add a tablet to the telecom one for only $10, so depending on the devices it may or may not work out as good.
And it is available to a consumer subscriber, not just a business subscriber. And you can already share with a tablet on 2degrees for free. We've had that for a couple of years now.
Point taken on the tablet one, I'd forgotten that, but the 'must be a business' requirement is pretty silly.
Anybody can go in and sign up and claim to be a business. (And, unless you requires them to be a business with limited liability, anybody can do that totally legitimately by claiming to be a self employed consultant or something.)
I used to be on a telecom business broadband plan years ago because it had a higher data cap and better overage rates, nobody ever asked me to prove I was a business.
I didn't know Telecom and 2degrees were the same company ...
On another note; I don't see the point in the $89 plan. It doesn't give much extra!
They aren't. My point as that having a rule that you must be a business is pretty pointless because it is impossible to enforce in a practical way. Anybody can be a business just by claiming to be.
