Hoping a helpful and knowledgeable 2D staff member can help me out, so far the CSR's have been clueless. I have moved my number across from the vodafone network via the "bring my number" part of the 2D website. 2D say the port has been successfully completed, earlier this afternoon.

However if the A party is calling from the vodafone network, the call is been terminated to the old  (in a phone i have to give back) sim card. I am wondering if vodafone has not updated their switch, to therefore route the call off to 2D correctly? what is more confusing is a caller, has explained they received a "number not valid message", they tried again and got through, be it to the wrong phone as mentioned above.

It has to be completed by each carrier individually. Even though *we* may have completed the port, the other carrier(s) may not have. Sounds more like something went wrong on the Vodafone side, though - occasionally it does happen (to everyone). John should be able to get it sorted out for you.

But you said in your your OP "I have moved my number across from the vodafone network" And asked "I am wondering if vodafone has not updated their switch, to therefore route the call off to 2D correctly?" So how does anyone from what you said no think you were a Vodafone customer.

If you wanted help make to life easy you could have said "I have ported my number from "xxxx" to 2degrees " then explained the issues you were having.
