I upgraded and now the internet is kaput. Rang Snap and was told NZ dsl setting is not included in the new firmware so I have to roll back to previous one.

Currently using my mobile to search Fritz site which make this painful. Appreciate it if anyone can post link to the 6.01 or even older firmware here.

Which model fritzbox and what version do you want to rollback to? Most can be found here:

ftp://service.avm.de/Downgrade/

though I can't say I've tried them as I'm VDSL so firmly sticking with .22 firmware (with remote access turned off)

Anybody on VDSL have it working? And can you change the settings on the "Line Settings" tab of Internet->DSL information?

Several people in the other Fritz!box security thread have upgraded with no issues.

I'm also with Snap on a 7340 and mine upgraded on-air fine. And yes, this now appears to be 2 threads...

No signature to see here, move along...

I am using 7390. I have downgraded to 5.22 but now the router reverted to factory settings. I entered back Snap account settings and changed the dsl settings back to ones stated on Snap site (vpi/vci, encapsulation) but still no internet. Anything I missed?

I'm curious to see if they fixed the Broadcom issue with 6.03 since its been around on all firmwares after .22

Same as above here.

Side note though, what the hell is going on at AVM. Complete shambles at the moment. Removal of SMB access to NAS. Security risks. No DSL for NZ.

I had come to expect more from them.
