niallm90: You have tried all the settings I have listed, including from-domain?

From what I can see browsing every single option in the SPA112 and CSipSimple - This setting does not exist.

Yeh I just had an attempt with csipsimple and couldn't see it either. You could read the asterisk docs to see what it does. I am not sure myself.

Thanks,
Niall

eXDee: Tried that one.

Turns out this may be some sort of account or provisioning issue... i just discovered i can actually register my own home phone line perfectly on Freeswitch on this snap connection, even though its already registered on my home connection's fritzbox.

But i cant auth this account on my home fritzbox or on freeswitch.
Password is definitely right.

When i change a digit in the number as a test (07959XXXX) i get a URI not recognized error,perhaps it's recognizing the username at least.
When I login to the snap myaccount it works fine. When i try to login to https://portal.plus.snap.net.nz i get a login failure on this newly provisioned number.

I'll get authorized on the account tomorrow and ring them up.

The config that works with my number is as simple as:
<include>
<gateway name="snap">
<param name="username" value="012345678"/>
<param name="password" value="password123"/>
<param name="register" value="true"/>
<param name="realm" value="connect1.plus.snap.net.nz"/>
</gateway>
</include>

I am experiences the same issues with https://portal.plus.snap.net.nz also.

I have phoned snap twice and made sure of my number and password.

I dont know what else to do.

Just an FYI, i've got SIP Working with Snap Plus going back to FreePBX no issues. Below is my configuration:

[Snap]
disallow=all
host=connect1.plus.snap.net.nz
username=03XXXXXXX
fromuser=03XXXXXXX
secret=<removed>
type=peer
qualify=yes
context=from-pstn
nat=yes
fromdomain=connect1.plus.snap.net.nz
dtmfmode=rfc2833
allow=ulaw
allow=alaw
allow=gsm
canreinvite=no
insecure=invite,port

[Snap-user]
secret=<removed>
type=user
context=from-pstn

and register string:

register=03XXXXXXX:<removed>@connect1.plus.snap.net.nz/03XXXXXXX

Hopefully it helps someone else out.

Thanks for that bit of info, With a bit of googling of FreePBX configuration and matching these settings to what I have available in my SPA112 (after factory reset) I am still having the same issue (authentication failure)

I have tried Freeswitch also with the same result.

There must be something we are missing here... Can I dump my config and give to somebody to take a look at?

Can any one shed any more light on the subject?

Intersting you have it working frizianz,

I have jumped into FreePBX head first and believe I have all settings correct but no dice.

Registration is failing there also even after copy and pasting your config and modifying username, passwords fields as necessary.

EDIT: Have rebooted FreePBX and now is registering OK.

SPA112 - Still not working, Now I beleive I am definately missing something...

hmm...

Okay an update for you guys.

After I was able to get FreePBX registering with Snap! I plugged in my SPA112 and low and behold it connected straight away!

I have entered the dial plan into the SPA112 supplied by 2talk for NZ which should work: ([2-9]xxxxxx|0[34679][2-9]xxxxxx|0210xxxxxxx|021[12]xxxxxx|021[3-9]xxxxx|02[0279]xxxxxxx|0204xxxxxxx|0240xxxxxx|024[1-9]xxxxxxx|0282[4-5]xxxxxx|050xxxxxxx|070xxxxxxx|080xxxxxxx|00xxxxxxx.|01[08]|017xx|12[356]|[19]11|*55|023xxxxxxxx|01[1234569]x.|02[56]x.|028[013456789]x.|0282[0123467890]|0282[01236789]|05[1-9]x.|08[1-9]x.|0[34679][0-1]x.|1[03456789]x.|11[023456789]x.|12[0124789]x.|*[012346789]x.|*5[012346789]x.)

All other settings apart from Number, Username, password and server address are at defaults. You can see earlier in the thread for these details.

I dont have a phone plugged into the Cisco as yet to test the dial plan but it should work.

I have not tried connecting CSipSimple direct from my phone as yet but will give it a go and post back.

I have got CSipSiple connecting to FreePBX but I cannot get any Inbound or Outbound calls - Any info on this would be appreciated.
