Can anyone with a 2degrees Nexus 5 confirm whether or not they've got any of the recent OTA updates? My 2013 Nexus 7 got both 4.4.3 and 4.4.4 right after they were released, but my Nexus 5 is still sitting on 4.4.2

Just wondering if anyone can shed light on possible reasons.

Im also a 2degrees N5 owner stuck on 4.4.2. Have not rooted or anything of that nature. Considering 4.4.3 has been out for over a month it doesn't seem like it will make it to our handsets without some intervention.
I got the 4.4.2 update when it came out without a problem though so im unsure what has stopped my N5's ability to update .

Edit: Workmate's 2deg N5 also on 4.4.2

Yep still on 4.4.2.  Drives me nuts but my understanding is 2degrees has to accept the update before we can get it as opposed to just recieving it from google.

Really? doesn't that defeat the purpose of having a nexus device and getting updates from google asap!? Not impressed if that's the case.

I dont have a Nexus - but I had assumed they got updates directly from google as well.
This google link tends to suggest they do as well.

Have you manually checked your phone checks for updates? - I would expect you would want to do this on wifi as it would be large.

Mine was stuck on 4.4.2 as well. After a brief trial of Android L I flashed the factory 4.4.4 image from here https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images

It's easy to do, but erases your phone.

Just confirming that my WHS 2Degrees Nexus 5 is still on 4.4.2 as well. I had also thought they received updates over wifi rather than needing carrier approval, but this is my only NZ-purchased android device (my wife's Moto-G got the update ages ago, and although my 2012 N7 is now almost unusably slow, when I turned it on for the time in a few months it had the update immediately available).

Bought locally or from a play store?  And it was OTA?

I'm also on 4.4.2 on 2degrees.

I contacted 2degrees about the update and recieved the following reply:

"The 4.4.4 Kitkat is in the final testing phase with us and should be released via OTA within the next three weeks. Appreciate your patience."

I assume they just decided to skip over 4.4.3.

So 2degrees does have to modify/test it before release?

ok thanks 2degrees. Was 4.4.3 never released on 2degree's then?

Thats weird how some people with 2dg phones have mysteriously gotten 4.4.4 if they havn't released it yet?
