Hi,

Like the title say I have the 'not registered on network' when I try to make a call or send a text but the 3G is working fine. I have read a lot of threads, and try a lot of things without any success, that's why I am coming to you to get some help. I have a rooted Samsung Galaxy SII 9100, and I am located in New Zealand with 2degrees. I have tried 3 different SIM card in the phone and none of them were working ( Vodafone, Telecom, 2degrees ). My 2degrees SIM card work on other phone, I have updated the phone via KIES and my IMEI is the same as the back of my phone.

PDA : I9100ZSMSA
Phone : I9100XXKG6
CSC : I9100ZSMSA
Android version : 4.1.2
Kernel : Siyah-s2-v6.0b5

Thanks

Where did you get your handset from? It does not sound like the problem is with 2degrees.

Hm.  Maybe punch in your IMEI here:

see what it tells you.

Has the phone ever worked on NZ networks ?
Is it NZ new ?

If no to either of the above, then most likely its been blacklisted (usually due to theft) by the networks as the other posts have indicated....  if it is new but sourced from o/seas, then you may have bought something that just wont work with the NZ carriers.

If you feel it has been blacklisted unfairly, you'll need to contact your carrier and start the process of getting it removed from the blacklist - suspect this would involve your providing proof of purchase/ownership.
