I Don't have access to this, but without attempting to bypass NBR's paywall, for those who can read it is there actually any weight to this or is it speculation?


If there is weight, that's interesting considering they have partnered with Snap recently - which isn't a surprising relationship given Snap backhaul a lot of 2degrees data.

Earlier Stuff stoery from when they dipped out in bidding for Orcon in June,


Entering the fixed-line market would let 2degrees join Telecom and Vodafone in offering both mobile and fixed-line services and it remained high on the company's list.

Chief executive Stuart Sherriff said...


"Certainly within the year we will be there and that will be by either buying, building or partnering," he said.

Nothing new, talks about their plans and asks whether they could partner with MyRepublic..Which simply wouldn't work because myrepublic don't want legacy copper services, which is something still essential if you're going to be pitching to business customers.
