Hi, just wondering if anything different needs to be done for connections that are on the Family Share option? I am on an unlimited calling plan and pay an additional $25 for a family member to share the plan. However, they are currently in Australia and are getting a message that say that they don't have any credit to call. I looked on the website and can see that roaming should be enabled by default and calls will be 10c per minute. My spend control has some breathing space as well.

Any reason why they wouldn't be able to make calls? Do they need credit loaded on their connection?

Thanks.

Hi there

Yes, they will need to top up to use their services in Australia.  Family 'sharers' can only use their allowances whilst in New Zealand, please see section 16 in Family Share T & Cs

If they want to use data, our Aussie Data packs make the roaming $ go further - Aussie data packs
