My $19 Carryover Combo renewed yesterday (very early morning) as usual, but I haven't yet received my Carryover Combo Reward. Every other time it's happened later that morning, but now it's been 43 hours and counting. The site says it should happen within 24 hours. Texting "Reward" to 288 still gives back a message saying I have the 500MB reward. What gives? Anyone else?

Yep, me too, though I'm just heading into 23rd hour. 😱

I have it 'queued' to ring and ask about tomorrow, as mine effectively doubles my data and dats is all I use the phone sim for anyway πŸ˜†

Might be their system is borked? Thought it was just me...

Good to know it's not just me! Yeah I guess something must be busted. Guess will just have to wait and see.

Well mine came through this morning before I rang... so if you're still waiting I think it time to ring them up?

A bit silly that you can't actually use the data that you pay for. If the automatic top up fails it instantly blocks your connection rather than letting you use any carry-over or bonus data.

yep, but their T&C's clearly state it's only valid when having a current subscription?

I just set my Auto-topup for the week before end it all comes out ok (though the bonus stills seems to take an extra day or two to be added)

If this happens often you could consider Pack Assist. If you're short by up to $5 we will lend it to you, to be automatically repaid when you topup (and if you have auto-topup turned on also then that will trigger immediately after the pack is purchased).

The obvious question is: "Salty, why don't you trigger autotopup when the pack purchase fails instead of lending $5?" And the answer is "Because most people have [auto-topup] confirmation turned on, so it wouldn't help most people."

And yet, I only have 'autotopup' on because you DONT trigger the money on pack renewal day?

Perhaps it should be an option when setting autotopup, for a date OR for when your pack is due.

I had to turn off any data use from 'available funds' as I twice had a top up that was eaten into by data overage and then was insufficient for the pack price, irritatingly could only retro $20 so always had more money sitting 'at risk' of being wasted on overage data prices or random picture messages my wife does from my better camera phone (!)

Setting a Monthly Auto-top-up set on the day BEFORE the pack expiry (you'll find the expiry date in Your 2degrees) should ensure the pack auto-renews and prevent any casual rate charges.

Rewards are normally added within 24 hours of the pack renewing. Please PM us your number and 4 digit PIN if you need us to follow up if there's any issue.

Cheers

So a positive to add here... This month my bonus was added within half an hour of the auto topup going through.

Excellent improvement 2D!
