In the end it was/is a Chorus issue. After 2degrees called them they did something that fixed the connection, but apparently they're still not happy with what they're seeing because they're also sending a tech out to look at the ONT box. From doing a Speedtest I think it's probably not running as fast as it should be (seems to top out at 200mbps exactly).

 

The router works great, so far, and wasn't the issue at all.
