And it's also limited to 12 months at that rate.

 

However you're getting a $200 credit plus a $10 a month discount so effectively $320 all up. Not sure how this is profitable for them.

Any word on the Gigabit plan? Right now incl the $200 credit, but excluding the value of the Prime Video, which I can't use as I am already a Amazon Prime Subscriber which comes with Amazon Prime Video.

Hmm. So it would be $100 for me since I don't have a 2D Mobile Pay Monthly plan? Then $10 for a Static IP per month?

Often, if you are out of your term and re-sign onto a 12month contract 2 degrees will provide the discount. Has been the case in the past and will be worth phoning up to ask for that.

I'm back in NZ late August and would be nice to sign up for this now, and start the actual plan when I arrive.

Offer ends 5th of September, so you should be fine to signup when you're back.

 

 

 

Fiber was installed in my street in May, but Chorus address checker is still saying it will be available in September, I really hope it's available before this offer closes. The property has no copper line, so I can't sign up to DSL in the meantime

More like an actual discount now. The original $10 off basically reduced the $30 pay monthly plan down to the comparable prepay plan (i.e. $19)

I won't be changing until my contract with Spark ends towards the end of August, but thought I'd have a look at this. Oddly, when I select the Ultimate Unlimited option the 'standard' price jumps up by $10 to $110 (Unlimited goes up in price too). I'm assuming this is an error relating to updating (or not) the website.

I don't like that they do it this way myself as its a little bit misleading. I do get why marketers do it too.

 

What I think is definitely unclear is that you're saving $20 (for 12 months) by also having a monthly plan with this special.  Sure 2 x $10 discounts = $20, however it initially looks like just a repeat and a mistake.
